What We Collect
When you submit the guidance form, on this website or inside WhatsApp, we store:
- Your full name and your mother's name — both required
- Your gender and your age — both required
- Your country and mobile number — both required
- Your father's name, if you give one — optional
- Your email address, if you give one — optional
- The issue you selected and the description of your problem — both optional
Why We Collect It
Only to understand your situation, prepare guidance for it, and send that guidance back to you. Each field is asked for a reason:
- Your mother's name is required because that is the name a dua is traditionally made on. Your father's name is not needed for that, so it stays optional.
- Your gender and age shape the guidance itself — what is right for a child is not what is right for an elder.
- Your mobile number is how we send your guidance, and it is also what identifies you: writing to us again from the same number adds to your existing case rather than starting a second one.
Cookies and Other Services
We set one cookie to keep you signed in to the request portal and to stop the form being submitted repeatedly, and a second one that remembers your answer to our cookie question.
If you press Accept on that question, we also load the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It tells Meta which pages you visited and, if you sent us a request, that a request was sent. We use this only to see which of our adverts bring people here. Meta may set its own cookies and link this to your Facebook or Instagram account. Nothing you write in the form, and none of your contact details, is ever sent to Meta. The Pixel never runs in the request portal.
If you press Decline, or do not answer, nothing from Meta is loaded. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
The one thing that does leave this site is the typefaces, which are loaded from Google Fonts. That request tells Google your IP address and which page you are on. It sets no cookie and carries nothing you have written to us.
If you fill in our form inside WhatsApp, your answers travel through WhatsApp, which is run by Meta, and through 360dialog, the company that connects our WhatsApp number to this site, before they reach us. Both handle them only to deliver them. Your WhatsApp number is then used as your mobile number, so you are not asked to type it.
Who Can See It
Only the members of our guidance team who work on your request. We do not sell, rent or share your information with advertisers (the Meta Pixel above, if you accept it, sees only which pages you visited), and we never publish what you write to us.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your request so we can refer back to it if you contact us again. You may ask us to delete it at any time — quote your Request ID and we will remove it.
How It Is Protected
- The admin area is password protected and restricted by role.
- Forms are protected against cross-site request forgery.
- All database access uses prepared statements, so the data cannot be injected into.
- Uploaded files are stored outside the publicly reachable folders.
Your Rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.
